Interblocks joins the Oracle PartnerNetwork

Colombo, October , 2006 – Interblocks Ltd. - a market leader in financial transaction software- announced its membership in the Oracle PartnerNetwork, marking a milestone in the company’s alliance with Oracle Corporation, the world’s largest enterprise software company.

The Interblocks-Oracle collaboration made history when Interblocks became the first ISV to migrate its iSwitch - IFX based ATM Switch & Monitoring Software to Oracle Database 10g with Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) in Sri Lanka. The Interblocks iSwitch application on Oracle RAC, allows customers to qualify from limited share-nothing and share-disk approaches to highly scalable solutions with close to 100% system uptime.

 “In addition to developing a range of Transaction Management System applications to operate on the Oracle Database infrastructure, Interblocks is in the process of migrating their applications onto the Oracle Fusion Middleware environment. This will fortify Interblocks’ product suite and boost the Interblocks-Oracle relationship,” said Faiq Faaiz, Director Business Development at Interblocks.

As a result of this new relationship, Interblocks and Oracle will co-sponsor events and conferences and undertake joint marketing activities, aimed at building market awareness and offering innovative solutions to customers.
